Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the main cannabinoids present in the Cannabis plant. We synergise 99% pure CBD isolate with full spectrum terpene extract and spin that with the highest quality C60 carbon oil. CBD is non-psychoactive and has several pharmacological properties, among a myriad of other properties it is gaining a reputation for its powerful anti-inflammatory, Immunomodulating and potent antioxidant effects. We have expertly synergised our ApexRX CBD with C60 (carbon c60). Having positive health-enhancing properties for both animals and plants. C60 is 172 times more effective against oxidative free radicals than Vitamin C. C60 has also been found to be highly protective against radiation. Scientific studies on animals found C60 increased rodent lifespans by between 35% to 100%. C60 sits perfectly within the cell membrane thus also able to carry our 99% CBD into the membrane with it. You will not find a more potent, effective CBD available.

9.9mg of CBD in 1 gram

1ml is equivalent to 1 gram CBD paste.

The benefits of CBD:

1.Pain Relief.

One of the most widely accepted benefits of CBD oil is its pain-relieving effects. This happens because of the way CBD interacts with brain receptors and the immune system to reduce inflammation and as a result, alleviates feelings of pain and discomfort. Cannabinoids can increase the effects of the glycine receptors, an important target for nociceptive (nerve pain) regulation at the spinal level. A 2012 study published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine showed that CBD has been shown to significantly suppress chronic inflammatory and neuropathic pain in rats, without having any long-term impact on pain tolerance.

To exemplify this with human conditions, CBD is used for individuals with arthritis, osteoporosis and other conditions that cause inflammation and pain. A study in the European Journal of Pain tested CBD on rats with arthritis for four days to see whether it helped to manage pain. The outcome noted was that there was a significant drop in inflammation, indicators of pain and had no negative side effects. Though this was an animal study, it indicates the significant benefits of CBD for humans with similar diseases.

2. Seizures.

Approximately 50 million people globally suffer from the neurological condition epilepsy, making it one of the most common diseases. Seizures occur when there is an extreme fluctuation of electrical activity in the brain. As of yet, there is not a solid treatment for epilepsy that has been shown to significantly reduce the number of seizures.

In a clinical study undertaken by doctors who treated epileptic patients with CBD to monitor the effects this has on the number of seizures they suffer with, the outcomes shocked the medical professionals involved. The study included 162 patients treated with 99 per cent CBD oil extract for 12 weeks and discovered that CBD worked better than the existing anti-epilepsy medications currently given to epileptic patients. CBD reduced seizures by on average 37 per cent per month and an astonishing seven patients were completely cured of seizures during the research period.

CBD has anticonvulsant properties that work on calcium and sodium ion channels, glutamate receptor antagonists and other systems working constantly in the brain. Anticonvulsants target the neurotransmitters that are responsible for sending motor messages from the brain to the body by switching up how ions flow into and out of the neurons.

3. Help With Cancer.

CBD has an antitumor effect that helps to kill tumour cells in both colon cancer and leukaemia. CBD has synergistic effects on reducing and inhibiting tumour growth, especially when given alongside traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation. The main difference between CBD and conventional cancer treatments is that CBD specifically targets cancer cells without harming the healthy cells. Cannabinoids target a range of processes that are necessary for cancer to survive in the body to ultimately ensure cancer cells don't survive. Unlike conventional treatments, CBD is extremely multifunctional.

4. Anxiety Relief.

Anxiety is a common mental illness that causes suffers to excessively worry or fear everyday occurrences. Anxiety stems from the ‘fight or flight’ response system that once helped us fight or run from danger, so is considered a critical adaptive response. However, we no longer have such serious threats as predators killing us or fighting off animals so this response system has become maladaptive in some individuals.

The common treatments for anxiety are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Prozac and Zoloft, which work by blocking reabsorption of serotonin in the brain to increase the availability of serotonin in the synaptic space. This helps the cells within the brain to transmit and carry more serotonin signals to boost mood and reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety.

The role of CBD in treatments of anxiety is similar to the effect of SSRIs. CBD has been shown in animal studies to boost serotonin receptors. The hippocampus is a large area of the brain that manages a variety of brain functions including for memory and cohesiveness of thought. An animal study found that repeated consumption of CBD led to an increase in regenerated neurons by the hippocampus, which again is useful for anxiety and depression. This is significant for mental health research because CBD has no known negative side effects while common SSRIs have a variety of side effects, including an increased risk of suicide.

5. Help With Insomnia And Sleep Difficulty.

Another major benefit of CBD is the calming and sleep-promoting benefits it has. Alongside reducing anxiety, one factor that contributes to poor sleep, research also suggests that CBD improves overall sleep quality and amount per night. In small morning doses, CBD actually stimulates alertness during the day which contributes to the overall quality of the sleep-wake cycle. In one study, researchers found that administering 10-20 micrograms of CBD into specific areas of the brain boosted wakefulness and inhibited slow-wave and REM sleep.
