Our tea tree essential oil is the ancient answer to the age-old cure question. Whether you’ve been attacked by hungry mosquitoes during a camping trip, or are looking for a natural way to lower your blood pressure, tea tree oil is a time-tested, natural alternative to harsh chemicals and man-made medications. Our 100% pure organic tea tree oil is steam-distilled from the leaves of the Malaleuca alternifolia, a native Australian tea tree that has been utilized by indigenous Aborigines for centuries.

In ancient Australia, the crushed leaves of the tea tree were inhaled as a cold and cough remedy. The Bundjalung people steeped the leaves in a pungent liquid before applying it to infected skin areas, or using it as an elixir for everything from sore throats to open wounds (1). The oil that was later developed by Arthur Penfold contained 98 compounds or pure healing power. Tea tree oil makes it all better – from the common cold to that pesky infection that just won’t seem to heal. With its fresh, invigorating scent, you’ll feel like you’ve woken up on a crisp, cool morning in the middle of a forest, where the pine trees stoically surround you in protective, preventative embrace.

Tea tree oil has anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties, and is “A therapeutic agent in chronic gingivitis and periodontitis, conditions that have both bacterial and inflammatory components.” Tea tree is very high in natural anti-inflammatory agents and contains the plant-chemicals cineol and propanol, both kinds of natural chemicals that can decrease gingivitis and reduce plaque. Tea tree also helps stop the approach of bacteria and is very astringent and antiseptic. In a scientific dental study, a genuine distillation of tea tree oil (2.5%) proved effective in the treatment of chronic of gingivitis and inflammation. High in natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial constituents of 1.8 –cineol, terpinen-4-ol, tea tree essential oil decreased the level of gingival teeth and reduced plaque scores in the study. Furthermore, the study showed that a total of 162 oral bacteria isolates (including streptococcus) were inhibited and rapidly destroyed by tea tree oil concentrations of less than 2%. The study concluded, “The components of Tea Tree Oil are known to have lipophilic properties which facilitate its diffusion through the epithelium. If Tea Tree Oil is readily absorbed after topical application into the gingival tissues and has anti-inflammatory properties once it has entered the connective tissues, it would be a unique non-toxic agent.” The Healthy Gum Drops formula contains more than 2% of this astringent and antiseptic essence.

Eliminate endless trips to the drugstore with one bottle of our exquisitely pure, natural organic Tea Tree oil.

“Teatree! Thou soft, thou sober, sage, and venerable liquid, thou smile-smoothing, heart- opening, wink-tipping cordial, to whose glorious insipidity I owe the happiest moment of my life, let me fall prostrate thus, and ... adore thee.”
– Colley Cibber, 17th century

“Tea tree oil has been used in Australia by its native people, who introduced it to the Western world via Captain Cook in 1770. This is one oil that most definitely will get lots of use in your medicine chest and should positively be part of the home first-aid kit.”
- Jeanne Rose, The Aromatherapy Book: Inhalations and Applications

Alive and Fresh

I told a friend about your products and they purchased a kit and i must say i had so much fun smelling the: rosemary, sandalwood, tea tree etc... What is the difference between your tea tree and the (i think desert essence that you see in the little bottles) yours smelled so much more alive and fresh. As well, what would you say the difference is between your oils and (inessence; i think there called; is there any goodness to these oils). thank you for your awesome work.

only tea tree i would use

basically, this is the only tea tree i would use. the others smell medicinal in a bad way. i would not even clean my toilet with them. this is the best tea tree bar none. thanks!

Blessings

An essence so cleansing, it resonates with the power of a great Indian Chiefs blessing.
